How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly from within the Poker Coach app at any time. No need to contact support.
- Open Poker Coach Launch the app and make sure you are logged in.
- Go to Profile Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Open Account & Security Scroll down and tap "Account & access", then tap "Account security".
- Tap "Delete account" Scroll to the bottom and tap the Delete account option.
- Confirm with your password Enter your current password to confirm the deletion. This action is permanent.
Alternative: Request by Email
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us from the address associated with your account:
Include the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and the email address of the account you want deleted. We will process your request within 5 business days and send a confirmation.
What Will Be Deleted
The following data is permanently removed when you delete your account:
- Your profile — username, email, display name, gender, age
- All lesson and scenario progress
- XP, level, and streak history
- Achievements and goals
- Daily task history
- AI coach conversation history
- Account preferences and settings
- Subscription and entitlement records
⚠️ This action is irreversible. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
Data Retention Timeline
Here is exactly what happens after you confirm account deletion:
| Timeframe | Action |
|---|---|
| Immediately | Account is deactivated. All active sessions are revoked. You are logged out on all devices. |
| Within 30 days | All personal data (profile, progress, achievements) is permanently deleted from our database. |
| Backups | Encrypted database backups may retain a copy for up to 90 days as part of our disaster recovery process, after which they are also purged. |
| Anonymised logs | Aggregate, non-identifiable analytics data (e.g. total app sessions) may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to you. |
After Deletion
- Your email address can be used to create a new account after deletion.
- Any active subscription must be cancelled separately through the App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription or issue a refund.
- If you have an active subscription, we recommend cancelling it in the store before deleting your account.
